Waldhotel König von Rom

We were comfortable in the room, enjoyed the lovely views and found the staff, especially the warm and welcoming owners, fantastic. The small hotel has a cozy feel, and the surroundings are beautiful, with a bus stop about a five-minute walk away. We stayed five days over Christmas through an Enjoy Hotels package. The dinners were generous and delicious, and they often offered seconds. The included hot lunch was no good for us. Breakfast was fine most of the week, but on both Christmas mornings it felt sparse and not very festive: plenty of cheese, but no croissants or bacon with the omelet. The music was a letdown too, with little Christmas feel on the holiday itself and sad tunes at breakfast. I'm still between three and four stars.
