The view from the terrace is lovely, and the surrounding area is amazing. The hotel itself is old and needs renovation.

The staff were helpful, and the location is great. The building seems to have once been a senior home, and many things still bring that to mind. The rooms are mostly oddly equipped, and the place needs reconstruction.

We loved our time at Hotel Karoli and enjoyed our family holiday in Bavaria. The staff were great, the food was tasty, and the view over charming Waldkirchen was terrific. Highly recommend!

We booked through the travel company Travelbird, and I’m sure we’ll return to Hotel Karoli and Waldkirchen several times. We visited in week 40 and had a wonderful stay. The area is a fantastic place to visit, with 15 walking routes ranging from 4 to 25 kilometers through beautiful forest in Baurischer Wald Nationalpark. The all-inclusive stay meant we never lacked food or drinks. The staff were very kind and helpful, and the food was fantastic both in the morning and evening. At 22:00, the place literally shuts down. All the staff go home and turn off every light, so you're forced to go to bed then. Absurd, in my opinion.
