The service was incredibly friendly, and everything was very clean. The food was another matter, though. My fries were lukewarm, and the vegetarian dishes seemed well-intentioned but weren't executed well. They could do better. Vegetarian nuggets, for example, are something everyone loves, and they're hard to get wrong.

Right at the edge of the forest, this is a quiet, beautifully situated inn. The staff were very friendly, everything was clean, and breakfast was generous.

The couple running the restaurant are super nice. There’s nothing better around, and plenty of people could learn a thing or two from them. I’ll definitely come back 😄😄

We could keep our e-bikes in the garage, and Mr. Witte was very friendly and helpful. The guesthouse, Gasthaus Witte, is small and sits on the outskirts of Wallenhorst, about a 10-minute walk from the town center. Our room was large and modernly furnished, and breakfast was perfectly adequate.

I was completely satisfied with the service and my stay. The breakfast buffet was extremely extensive, with a very large, fresh selection. The owner was pleasant and the staff equally friendly, and the inn's kitchen served excellent food. The room was quiet, modern, and well equipped. The bathroom, toilet, and shower were very clean and to a high standard. It's conveniently located for getting to the motorway, and the price-performance ratio was perfectly fine.
