I only came to see the place, not to stay. The breakfast room used to be my grandmother’s living room. I lived with her there for six weeks in 1977, without speaking any German, and learned a lot. I also slept up a flight of stairs outside, where she used to live. Could I get a map of the hotel to see where I might stay next time?
