The dinner was the most memorable part, especially the potato shaped and decorated like a Bodensee Schwan. We also had a nice, fairly spacious room with a sofa and a lovely view of the water. But the ceiling under the roof was too low for us, so we asked to move. The person at reception offered us another room without any trouble, which I really appreciated.

We stumbled on this place after a disappointing night at a Swiss hotel, then crossed to the other side the next day. It was the end of summer, but we managed to get two rooms and had a wonderful stay. Everything was very clean and quiet, the rooms were great, and the views were terrific. I'd recommend it.

We booked at the last minute for one night on the way back from Lake Como to Frankfurt, and weren't disappointed. The hotel is being renovated to a high standard. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the beautiful restaurant overlooking the lake, watching the world go by. The food was excellent, and getting drink vouchers at check-in was a nice welcome. The marina is lovely, with restaurants nearby and a swimming area for a paddle. We'd love to come back.

The restaurant is great, and the lakeside setting comes with beautiful views. St George Church is quaint and close by too.

The room was comfortable, very clean, and had a nice lake view, though the furnishings seemed a little dated. Staff were very friendly, and the restaurant food was good. The hotel was quiet during our November weekday stay, though the number of parked cars suggested it was full on the weekend. The location worked well for walks and shops, but road construction made access a bit difficult. A solid stay, though not amazing.
