Our room was clean and newly furnished, the beds were comfortable, and the Wi-Fi worked properly in the main building. The location is pretty good. Even so, our four-day stay was a very bad experience. The wellness area is only open from 2 pm to 9 pm. We were out visiting during the day and at the restaurant in the evening, so by the time we got back it was closing. On departure day, we weren't allowed to use it without paying extra, which made no sense to us. The employees tried to help, but it felt like the owners cared about our money more than us, since there was an extra charge for every facility we wanted to use. Breakfast was disappointing too: cheap powdered juice, no eggs, fruit, baguette, croissants, or the other usual things. There were no towels or bathrobes either, apparently because they had been forgotten.

The hotel restaurant serves excellent food, and the dessert is especially worth trying. It's in a beautiful spot on lake Konstanz. We'll definitely come back.
