The room was comfortable and clean, with a cozy bed and a great shower. The place has a very traditional feel, and the staff were friendly and patient with my limited language skills. German and Russian seemed to be the main languages, but there was enough English to get by. It was low season, so things were really quiet; I can imagine the bar and restaurant are more worth visiting when there are more people around. We had a worthwhile stay, and the local military surplus shop and museum would be good to see with more time in the area.

Breakfast was included, and there was a pleasant outdoor area for meals. The room cost 85 euros including the tourism charge. This is a nice, comfortable older hotel with very friendly staff. Our room was simple and small, with a king-size bed and a single bed. The clean bathroom had a shower, sink, and vanity mirror. You lock the room with a key from both inside and outside. There was no AC, and it felt a little warm, so a ceiling fan would have helped. I’d recommend it for an overnight stay.

Dinner was all traditional German specialties, and the local beer selection was great for a summer evening. The hotel and restaurant staff were very nice and helpful, with enough English to help us get by despite our limited German. It’s in a very quiet part of town.

The rooms were dirty and had bedbugs. The place smells like a retirement home, and it isn’t worth the money.

The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. The schnitzel for 10 € was tasty, so it’s excellent for the price.
