Hotel Schloss Hertefeld

The cottage felt like home, with a cozy, well-equipped interior and beautiful grounds that looked like a vintage postcard. The location was perfect, and we felt very well cared for. We stayed at Schloss Hertefeld Weeze as a family of three, two adults and our 2.5-year-old, for almost three months while looking for a permanent home. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The staff were kind, professional, and supportive throughout. They helped with everything, and any household questions or issues were sorted out right away, making our long stay comfortable and stress-free. We're very glad we chose this place and would recommend it for short or long stays. Thank you for everything!

Our girls absolutely loved their little attic room, and our room was charming and comfortable too. The owners were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was yummy. We stayed one night at the lovely Schloss Hertefeld on our way back to Berlin from London, and would happily have stayed longer. It's a beautiful place with an interesting castle history. I wish we'd had more time to explore the area.

It's a nice little hotel, and our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast felt average for the room price. There's a very big garden, but I expected somewhere to sit and enjoy it, perhaps a small playground for children, or at least some benches or chairs under the trees.

The grounds were gorgeous, the rooms charming, and the staff and owners were super friendly and accommodating. There are animals to keep small children entertained and lots of space for them to run around. It's a great spot for a wedding, party, family gathering, or organized retreat. If you need somewhere to stay in this area, Hotel Schloss Hertefeld is not to be missed.
