The schnitzel was good too ;) And despite the old house and its heavy, dark wooden interior, the room itself felt bright, modern, comfortable, and well equipped.

We got there early and rang the bell to check in. A guy arrived within two minutes, showed us to our room, and left us the key. We went out for an evening meal later. Fantastic.

Jeanette, the owner, was very friendly and looked after everything we needed. The location in the centre, close to Osterburg Castle, worked perfectly for our stay in Weida. Our room was clean and stylish, with a beautifully renovated bathroom. We also really enjoyed the restaurant meal in the evening, and breakfast was very good too. Highly recommended!

We didn't stay overnight since we're from the area :), but we did enjoy a meal there. Service was quick, though the food took a while. That makes sense if it's freshly cooked; you can't get that from the hum of a microwave. Otherwise, there's always a fast-food place or kebab shop. The food's price, quality, and service were well balanced. We'd happily go back anytime.
