The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. It’s a quiet area, and having the restaurant next door is convenient. We stayed for 10 days, and I only wished the room had a small refrigerator and microwave.

The staff and owner made a very good impression, and there’s a popular restaurant in the building. The hotel’s location is ideal, with most stores easy to reach. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a large bathroom and a great shower, including very good water pressure and temperature. This will be our favorite place to stay whenever we’re in the area.

Finding a parking spot was a nightmare because diners at the busy restaurant next door had filled them. The room and bathroom were very clean, but the whole arrival was a bad experience. This is a contactless hotel without reception, and the instructions weren’t clear. We tried different doors in the restaurant courtyard while diners stared at us, and no one answered when we called the contact number. Once we got inside, we still couldn’t find our room. A helpful guest in the hallway explained that the rooms were in another building across the courtyard and walked us over, showing us how to get in. It was hidden by trees and unmarked, so we had no idea it was part of the hotel. Someone finally called us back 15-20 minutes later, after that guest had already helped us. The room itself was minimalist, with just the basics.

The bed was comfortable, and the hotel was fine for one night, but we probably won’t stay again. It’s a quirky setup with no reception area and nobody on site if there’s a problem. The room key was in a lockbox outside our door, and the codes for the hotel entrance and keybox had been emailed to us. There was a phone number to call if we needed help. The room was very basic, with one desk chair. The bed was on one side and the TV on the other, so watching a movie meant sitting or standing in front of the TV. The shower was tiny, about the size of a phone booth, and I had to squeeze into it.

The building has one restaurant, and it’s very popular on Thursday through Monday evenings. When it’s busy, it gets extremely noisy until around midnight; otherwise, it’s quiet. The hotel has no on-site staff, but the booking gives you your room number and codes for the entrance and key, along with a number to call with questions. They’re extremely helpful and speak German or perfect English. The room was clean, nice, and comfortable, with plenty of space, a king bed or two twin beds, a desk, closet, chairs, and TV. The plugs were easy to reach, and the large bathroom was very nice. The smaller shower was great, though there’s no tub. If the hair dryer isn’t in the bathroom, it might be in the clothes closet. You can walk to the local churches, and there are stores and shops too, though they’re a bit far, so driving would be quickest. There’s no refrigerator in the room.
