Labyrinth Hostel

Best location, friendly staff, and a laid-back atmosphere. You can cook whenever you like in the guest kitchen. The rooftop garden is especially nice in summer.

The hostel is clean, warm, and cozy, with a very central location that's also not too far from the station. Staff are friendly. In the attic dorms, though, you have to watch your head against the wall as you walk around. Breakfast costs extra and was okay, but more fruit options would have been nice. I only saw apples.

The hostel was cozy, with a spacious enough room and eclectic decor that made the place feel warm and welcoming. The front desk staff were nice, helpful, and welcoming, and the kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies and storage space. Breakfast was formidable. Most museums and must-see landmarks are nearby, and the bus from the main station was easy, with a stop right outside the hostel. I stayed two nights and would definitely stay at Labyrinth again when I return to Weimar. There's still a lot I didn't get to explore. For food, I recommend Damas, a Syrian restaurant. They only take cash, but the food was tasty.

I got what I expected: fresh, clean bed linen, the shared room I'd booked, clean toilets, and a locker for my things. It's a hostel in a very central spot, with friendly service, a clean room, and a very competitive price. There are also a common room and terrace for extra comfort if you're staying longer. During my stay they offered free French press coffee. Great recommendation.
