stattHotel

We had a really nice stay here. The studio apartment was a treat, breakfast was good, and everyone was very friendly.

Good.

We stayed here for a few days with our family of six adults to explore Weimar. The hotel is quiet and close to the center, with its own parking, and the decor feels modern and tasteful. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was a generous buffet with everything fresh. Our apartment was well equipped, with an induction hob, toaster, and kettle. The bathroom had the little extras you appreciate, including a magnifying mirror and a hand mirror. The box-spring bed was especially kind to our tired backs. We’d happily stay here again.

Breakfast was a real highlight for us. It stayed uncrowded, the food was regularly topped up, the coffee was very good, and they could make other egg dishes if you asked. Staff were incredibly friendly, and they took care of clearing away used dishes as part of their sustainability approach. There’s also a small drinks fridge by reception, with prices posted above it. My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Statt Hotel. It’s quiet despite being in the city, and an easy walk from the main sights. Our apartment room was spacious and very clean, with quality furniture and a kitchenette set up for everyday needs. Entry is by code and key, which was simple to use. Reception isn’t staffed all the time. Parking at the hotel is limited, so it’s best to book a space ahead for €9.00 a day. Restaurants serving Thuringian food are just a short walk away, including the Benediktiner Wirtshaus and Gasthaus zum weißen Schwan. We also liked Brotklappe for artisan bread. We’ll be back and are already looking forward to another stay in this lovely hotel in a historic town. Best wishes from the Siegerland region.
