The staff were cheerful and informative throughout our five-day stay. They handled a room change and a taxi booking, including changing the pickup time, without any trouble. Hotel Ottheinrich is right in the old town, about 20 yards from the Marketplatz and its cafes and restaurants. There can be some street noise, but it never seemed to go on for long. Church bells ring every quarter from 9 in the morning until around 9 at night. You get used to them, whether or not you like them. The place has a lot of character: a traditional four-story hotel and an annex across a narrow side street with larger suites. The decor has Gustav Klimt influenced wall details, and some rooms are a bit asymmetric, which adds charm. It doesn’t feel corporate or bland. We’d be happy to come back and see more of this delightful town.

Breakfast was lovely, with all the usual choices, and the staff are helpful if you have a special request. The rooms have so much charm and detail, and I loved the view from my bed. It’s a lovely place right in the city Center, with everything you need. Parking is limited at the hotel, though there are other spaces within walking distance. The easy parking app worked well and made paying simple.

There’s plenty to do around this nice little town, and it’s a pleasant place to visit. The hotel staff were very helpful, the room and bathroom were both spacious, and I loved the range of breakfast options.

I’ve stayed here a few times since 2016. The staff are very friendly, the room is really clean, and the breakfast is simple but very nice.

Right beside the marktplatz, the hotel is in a great location. The rooms are simple but wonderful, and the staff are incredibly friendly.
