We were there for a family wedding with about 150 guests, and the venue handled everything superbly and met all our needs. It’s a fabulous historic place in an excellent spot on the Marketplatz.

The owner was kind and helpful, and came over at midnight when we couldn’t work out the right entrance or find the key. The Kein Eingang sign at the entrance was a little confusing. Our first-floor suite had a window facing the chapple. The place was extremely peaceful and clean, with lots of room. The antique Chinese paintings, some Arabic pieces, and some modern decor gave it a calm, oriental mood, and the furniture was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, including a dishwasher and a Nespresso machine (regular model, not Dolce Gusto). It’s a charming old chapple with three suites, close to the city centre. Getting breakfast nearby is easy, since the best cafes in town are only five minutes away on foot. A great stay for a couple or small group of friends exploring the area.
