I've just had my 20th stay at Parkhotel, and I really appreciate how well you maintain it. It's always a pleasure to arrive. Two things, though: I wish the pool opened earlier on weekends, and dinner service at the restaurant was a bit inattentive. One evening I waited 20 minutes for dessert, then gave up and left. I understand it gets busy, but I would at least have expected an apology. Instead, I paid for my drinks and went. All the best!

My room was dirty when I got it. There was weird-smelling white glue all over the place, mostly dried and gross, especially on the bed. It looked like someone had been doing arts and crafts in there before I was given the room. Who even does crafts on a bed?

I only stopped by the bar for drinks, so I can't comment on the rooms. From the bit of the hotel I saw, it looked really fancy.

A very good hotel, with clean, spacious rooms, friendly staff, and good service. I recommend it. English was difficult with the staff, though; we managed with my limited German.

The staff were helpful and the service was good, and breakfast had a nice range of choices. The spa was pleasant, but small and crowded. The rooms feel a bit small and old-fashioned. I missed having a power outlet on each side of the bed, a minibar, and more shelf space in the bathroom. The deal says stay four nights and pay for three, but the total price comes out the same 😉.
