A good dog walking spot is about 250 meters away, and parking right at the house is perfect. The apartment is laid out really well for its size, and the terrace with wooden furniture and high-quality cushions is fantastic. I felt the house itself was furnished without much care, though. It would take very little to make it feel welcoming.

Apartment 1 had a handy setup, and having free parking in the courtyard was a real plus on the island. We could bike easily to Westerland and List, and the beach was about five minutes away by bike or a 15-20 minute walk. Just be aware the place sits under Sylt Airport's flight path, so it can get noisy at times. It's not right by the beach, of course, but we knew that before booking.

A lovely, clean, well-kept holiday apartment, though it's a little out of the way.

The location wasn't great, but everything inside was clean and in good shape.
