Hotel Berlin

The location made it easy to enjoy the neighborhood without driving. Fisch Blum, Jessens Landbäkerei, bio Eis from Issmeer at the Beach, Twisters Burgers, and Gosch were all around, and we were happy to settle in locally. Hotel Berlin is a gem, and we had an unforgettable stay. The cozy bed and breakfast hotel by the beach made a deep impression on us. Every interaction felt friendly and warmly hospitable, with comfort clearly a priority. They handled the COVID restrictions beautifully without losing the quality or welcome. Breakfast was a dream and a lovely reason to get up: changing cheeses and breads, fruit salad, quark, eggs, smoked fish, tea, and coffee. Everything was presented with care. They’d switched from a buffet to serving each table according to individual wishes, which was going the extra mile.

For a relaxing stay, this small, elegant hotel is ideal. It’s beautifully furnished with care, and the friendliness and service are remarkable. The whole place has a welcoming charm. A real little gem on Sylt.

This visit wasn’t as pleasant as my first one. They now require prepayment, saying it’s to avoid fees for debit or credit card payments. Room service is only every three days, and I wasn’t told about that beforehand. I did use the towels as requested.

A real gem, with a warm, friendly welcome and support throughout our stay. This small hotel is owner-managed, peaceful, centrally located, and close to the sea, restaurants, and bars. Private parking is right at the hotel. The furnishings are cozy and homely, and all the amenities are there: private beach chairs on the property, drinks in a fridge available around the clock, a well-stocked bookshelf, Wi-Fi, and a cozy breakfast room where nothing is lacking. We’d gladly come back.
