I came away with a 10 out of 10 impression. The rooms were roomy, clean, and comfortable, and the food was good quality with generous portions at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There were even more unusual options like ostrich and bits of crocodile. The restaurant team seemed young and a little inexperienced, but they were friendly and worked hard. It’s surprising to find such a standout hotel in a small town without major cities nearby. If you’re after nature, cycling, and some quiet, it’s a great fit.

The restaurant was the real highlight for me. I had the best Angus steak of my life there, and they also serve crocodile curry and ostrich schnitzel. Breakfast was great too. I didn’t expect to find a hotel like this in Werlte: the African-style decor is impressive, and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable.

I’ve stayed here twice now. Great place, and the food has a nice twist.

The food at the African sky restaurant is out of this world, and the hotel itself is beautiful and clean. I’m from the UK and travel to Germany for work. This is my employer’s hotel of choice, and I’m very happy with that.

The desserts were wonderful, and there were some really interesting things to choose from. It wasn’t cheap, but I thought it was worth the money.
