Shops and a bus stop are just around the corner, which couldn’t be more convenient. We spent a week here in October and felt completely at home. Everything was supplied, from linens, towels, and toilet paper to kitchen gear, spices, and oil, so it was easy to make the little ones’ favorite food. The grandkids loved the house too, with lots of chances to play and cuddle, and we enjoyed the fireplace. We only had a little time to use the outdoor area, but the seating spot and barbecue looked very inviting. The owners were extremely friendly to communicate with. If we plan another trip to Wernigerode, we’d choose the holiday home on Horstberg again.

We keep coming back because this little house is so cozy and lovely, and it has everything we need. Thanks for the beautiful Christmas tree and all the thoughtful touches. The gifted Harz berry mulled wine was delicious too!

We loved staying at the house on Horstberg in early June. It had everything we needed and the furnishings were charming. The location suited us perfectly, and we’ll definitely return. The owner was easy and pleasant to communicate with.

We spent Christmas here with two adults, a child, and a dog, and were very happy with our stay. After long days exploring the Harz Mountains, the firewood they supplied made evenings by the fireplace lovely and cozy. The whole property is fenced, so small children and pets can roam safely without supervision. Communication with Birgit was easy and pleasant. A few things could perhaps use some renovation, like loose bathroom tiles, but that’s a small point and doesn’t take away from the charm. We’ll definitely come back.

We had a wonderful few days here. The house is modern and cozy, with plenty of room for up to five people, and we felt very comfortable. The fireplace in the dining area was a highlight, and we made good use of the firewood provided. Even before we arrived, the owner was friendly and easy to reach. Contactless arrival went smoothly, and we appreciated the little bottle of wine waiting for us. We’d definitely return. Thanks for everything!
