After a long day of bike riding, using the sauna was really nice. The space is in a very quiet area and has plenty of kitchen items and modern fixtures. Just keep in mind that the walk into town takes about 15 minutes.

The owner was such a nice person, and the place was very quiet. I was surprised by my bedroom, it was much better than I expected. Wernigerode is a beautiful city. If you go there, this is a good place to stay.

We booked the whole place for my sister's wedding in June, and the heat was a problem. The windows wouldn't open all the way, and there was no A/C or fans. The breakfast was good, but my parents, family, and friends weren't happy with the accommodation. The staff spoke only German, not even basic English, so be aware. Since they didn't speak English, we got the impression that they didn't particularly like kids. The advertised checkout time was 12 pm, but Silvia almost kicked us out at 10 am, really. They need to improve the customer service side of things.

It's a little way from the center, but the walk takes just 10 to 15 minutes depending on where you're headed. The host was very nice and took time to answer questions and help plan activities and trips.

The breakfast was good, and there’s a sauna too. The apartment has a very modern style and the price was good. Definitely worth it.
