REGIOHOTEL Harzresidenz

We were impressed by how clean and well-kept the apartment was, even with its light-colored decor. It seemed freshly renovated, with a modern, inviting look from the light furniture and upholstery. Everything felt carefully planned and high-quality. A washing machine and dryer are available for shared use, which is a big plus for a longer stay. The service was also outstanding. When a small problem came up, we got quick, friendly, capable help without any fuss, and really felt valued as guests. The value for money is fantastic. We had a great stay at the Regio Hotel in Wernigerode and will definitely return. A real insider tip for a visit to Wernigerode.

The mattress was a little too soft for me, but otherwise I was extremely happy with the apartment. It had a lovely, tidy living room and a nice bedroom, with extra bedding provided for the sofa bed. The kitchen was superbly equipped with almost everything you'd expect, including an induction cooktop, though there was no oven. I'd gladly spend my next vacation here too.

Check-in and check-out were easy, the service was exceptionally friendly, and breakfast was delicious. Parking right in front of the house was convenient, and the center of Wernigerode is only a few minutes away by car. The house is quiet and very well equipped, especially the kitchen, which has everything you could need. Everything was spotless, the bathroom was modern, and the rest was impeccably maintained. We were absolutely thrilled with our long weekend in the Harz Mountains. More than five stars, and we'd love to return!

The furnishings were nice and undamaged, and the room felt more pleasant on the second day. At first, though, it smelled strongly of old grease. We had to air it out for a long time with a draft. The cooktop was greasy, and the grease filter in the extractor hood had been cleaned. We even put a bowl with a coffee grinder in the room. We've stayed in plenty of vacation rentals and never encountered a smell like that, to put it mildly.
