The apartment is quiet, set in the back building, but still right in the center of town. It was excellent value, very clean and tidy, and had everything we needed. We could get everything our child needed on request. Having a parking space in the courtyard was handy too, since parking in Wernigerode is usually scarce. We had a wonderful stay and would gladly return.

The apartment looked promising at first, with tasteful furnishings and a great spot near the castle and town center. But the bathroom had an unbearable smell, and the internet didn’t work. We tried several times to reach the owners by phone and got no answer, which made things even more frustrating. Overall, a disappointing stay.

We booked at short notice for two nights, and everything went smoothly. The apartment was bright, modern, and very clean. We didn’t lack anything, except perhaps towel hooks in the bathroom. The courtyard entrance is very narrow, but even our Mercedes Vito fit through.

The apartment is beautiful, though it gets very cold. I wouldn't recommend staying there in winter.
