The place is clean and tidy, and the service handled last-minute changes well. It’s clearly been around a long time, with a seventies charm that some people might like. If your expectations aren’t high, you’ll be satisfied.

The staff were friendly, but we wouldn’t stay here again. Cleanliness was close to nonexistent, and even the restrooms should have worked. The hotel needs a complete renovation. We booked two double rooms for one night while passing through, and didn’t expect much beyond cleanliness, especially after reading the previous reviews. The first impression was of a very dated, dark, uninviting place with old carpets. The entrance restrooms smelled like a motorway restroom. Our companions’ room had only a bathtub and toilet, while ours had a shower and toilet. There were shared showers in the hallway, but they were barely clean, if at all. The towels provided looked worn and faded, so we used our own. At least the bed linen was clean and fresh, and the bed was comfortable. Despite booking a double room, we were given a five-bed room with power supplied by several triple sockets. Safety?????
