The restaurant served really good, tasty German food, and the prices were excellent for both the meal and the room. The place was lovely to stay at, with excellent cleaning and service. I’ll definitely come back the next time I’m in Oldenburg.

My in-laws were very happy with their stay. They found the service and hospitality friendly and accommodating, and the rooms comfortable, clean, and quiet. The price was reasonable too. This is our go-to place.

I hope I can find a way to visit Metjendorf again and spend some time somewhere that’s stayed in my memories all these years. In my early childhood I lived down the street from this hotel, and in the mid-1950s its pub was where I first watched television. Best wishes to everyone at Köhncke's Hotel, George Mann (Georg Lienemann).
