We had kind, friendly service in a cozy restaurant surrounded by forest. A great place for hearty German food.

The meal was delicious, though it’s worth allowing a little time since everything is made fresh. We also enjoyed the Ostfriesenbräu beers, which you can get there as well as at the brewery itself. It was a lovely way to finish the day. The rustic farmhouse parlor feels wonderfully cozy, with thoughtful little decorations and even a fireplace. Service was first-rate: the staff were warm and attentive without hovering. 👍

We ate really well in a lovely, cozy setting. The server was very friendly, too, and looked after us well. We’d gone on Friday evening without booking and were lucky to find a table. One thing we missed: nobody pointed out the daily specials on the blackboard before we ordered. They were shown to the next guests afterward, which was a shame. Still, we’d definitely recommend the place!!!
