Town Hotel Wiesbaden

The price seemed fine, I guess, but the thoughtful care and attention to detail we remembered from a couple of years ago just don’t seem to be there now. The showers and breakfast have changed, and there’s no longer a discount at the local parking garage. We used to love staying here.

The rooms are super clean and tidy, and they even have music in the shower. That’s so awesome!

The hotel says it has parking, but the lot isn’t nearby. It’s a 10-15 minute walk on the other side of the center. The hotel knows this, but hasn’t updated the description on booking. Lots of people complain and the administration still hasn’t changed anything. Nearby parking costs 33 euros per day, which isn’t mentioned anywhere. Reception isn’t available all day either. We arrived at 11 and the lobby was closed, so we waited two hours with our 4-month-old baby before someone came to open the door. With lots of luggage, this place is a bad choice. The rooms are small and just decent, and I don’t understand the high ratings. It’s definitely not the boutique hotel it claims to be, just a cheap 2-star hotel. If we hadn’t had our baby with us, we would have rebooked somewhere else. The service was awful too. After all that waiting, they offered us nothing except one drink.

The location is good, but we paid too much for a very small room. The lobby was closed when we arrived around 12. The description says there’s parking, but on arrival we were told it was a 7-minute walk away. That’s difficult when you’re traveling with a baby and lots of stuff.
