Weinhof am Nussbaum

The location is lovely, right among the vineyards, though a little secluded. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and beautiful. They’re not new anymore and could use fresh paint, but everything still works well. The restaurant is similar. We didn’t use the service.

The food was good, the hosts were nice, and the price felt fair.

A quiet location, with a pleasant hotel and large, beautiful rooms. Everything was clean and well maintained. There’s a shaded terrace with seating and sun loungers, and the homemade organic wine is delicious.

The setting is lovely and natural, the grounds and garden are well kept, and there are animals around. Parking was ample. Inside, the rustic room was clean, and there’s a cozy lounge. Breakfast was delicious and generous, with regional fruit, fresh rolls, tea and coffee, plus changing extras like scrambled eggs, ham muffins or cake. There were some annoyances: the bathroom was noisy, and the east-facing window had no blinds or shutters, so the room got very bright in the morning. The remote batteries were leaking, which made the TV unusable. Wi-Fi was very weak and slow, and the mattresses squeaked. There’s no way to opt out of room service, but towels and other things aren’t replaced, only the bed is made, so that felt unnecessary. The bathroom mirror was too far away because the sink is too wide.
