The service was attentive and very friendly, and the kitchen team deserves a big thank you. We had dinner there and, although the menu was limited because of the ski jumping, there was still a good choice. The amuse-bouche, swede tart, fresh bread with lard, and side salad with its lovely vinaigrette were all so good. That crusty bread in the evening was amazing. The main dishes included everything from venison with homemade spaetzle to classic options, all made with great ingredients. I wish we'd gone sooner. We'll definitely be back.

We'd gladly return and recommend the hotel. The rooms were great and clean, the location was superb, and the food was delicious. Breakfast was perfect and we wanted for nothing. Our dog was welcome, which we really appreciated, and there was no extra charge, something you don't often see. The price felt very fair. We didn't get a particularly warm welcome, and the owner's sense of humor won't suit everyone, though.

The service really stood out, everyone was exceptionally friendly. The rooms have a Gelsenkirchen Baroque look, though the price is right. Food was minimalist and no culinary highlight, so the value for money didn't feel right. Maybe the kitchen was just having an off day.
