Breakfast was very good, with fresh bread, cheese, ham, blood sausage, a boiled egg, homemade jams, and orange juice, tea, or coffee. I especially loved the Riesling jam. We also joined a wine tasting, where our host explained what makes a good wine. Our room opened onto the garden and had plenty of space, with a comfortable bed, an en-suite walk-in shower, and a wall dividing the sleeping area from the sitting area with a sofa, chairs, table, and TV. The house is large and surrounded by a beautiful garden full of trees and flowers. I’d recommend staying here, and I’d come again.

We spent two nights in a double room that was furnished with care, and the Schmitz-Simon family gave us a warm welcome. The park-like grounds were lovely for relaxing, and our son enjoyed them too. A wonderful weekend, and thanks again!
