We’d happily stay here again. The owners were very friendly, and the house was clean, with a lovely garden, terrace, and garden shed. It’s well equipped and sits right by the Harle River. The harbor, supermarket, and several restaurants are all an easy walk away.

This is a vacation rental, not a hotel, so there’s no customer service team, just kind homeowners. My parents speak German and English, but they can’t be expected to speak every language fluently. Please use photos of the actual property in reviews, too. Comments like “they don’t speak Russian” or “the customer service was bad” don’t make sense here. I’m asking reviewers to use some common sense and give my parents fair reviews.

It’s a great vacation home, furnished with a lot of care. ✌️ It’s a shame that fake reviews and follow-up blackmail are something you have to deal with too. Hopefully Google improves its automated detection soon.

We cleaned the house, but while we were there the owners told us it was “completely filthy.” That makes them seem not very competent to me. Still, anyone can make a mistake, and I really feel sorry for the people behind the review bombing.

The house is beautifully and stylishly furnished, and its quiet setting makes it a lovely place to relax. You can get straight to the Harle river from there. We’d love to return.
