Hotel Garni Kröger

Everything worked out perfectly for our one-night double room stay on November 16th-17th, 2025, while buying a car. We'd travelled by train from Königs Wusterhausen, after our car dealership, Wessels Wittmund (Mr. Becker), recommended the hotel. The staff were wonderful and so kind, and the place felt friendly, harmonious, and clean. The email communication beforehand was great too. The bar costs extra, but the price was fair, and the other amenities were great. Free Wi-Fi, too. Just around the corner, the restaurant served delicious home-style cooking. We'd never had an experience like this before. We were lucky enough to have the hotel to ourselves on Sunday, then enjoyed a royal breakfast on Monday. It was a dream. The buffet I saw in the other reviews looked wonderful too. Thanks for a lovely short stay at Osterstraße 13, 26409 Wittmund. And many thanks to the host for the ride. Keep up the great work, it really is fantastic there. All the best to you all, Janko & Stefanie Grenz P.S. Here's the before and after picture of our kitchen, which we briefly discussed.

The garden is beautifully landscaped and a lovely place to unwind in the evening. Rooms are modern, service is very friendly, and the breakfast left nothing to be desired. There was plenty of fresh fruit, several cheeses, cold cuts, fish, jams, and honey, and we were absolutely delighted. Drinks are available at reasonable prices from a self-service fridge, including beer, wine, and soft drinks, and there's also a coin-operated coffee machine.

The breakfast was such good value that we were glad we added it. There was plenty to choose from, with warm rolls, and they’ll make eggs the way you want them, boiled, fried, or scrambled. Fresh coffee or tea is available too. The owners were attentive and really friendly, and the hotel was clean. We’d happily stay again.

The location worked really well for a stay of a few nights. Our room was tidy and clean, though the bathroom felt a little cramped. Breakfast had a generous selection, and they cooked the eggs fresh for you.
