There was a lot to enjoy, especially the view and the walking routes. You can wander in the woods and take pictures, or head down to the small village in the valley for shopping. It has a few good restaurants, like the wolfsklause. If you're staying longer, ask the restaurant whether they can make the schwieberosbrat. The place itself was small, though that's what you'd expect from a farm that rents out houses. There's a pool with fresh water. The Wi-Fi sometimes drops, but you're not there to be online all day. I had no complaints and would happily visit again.

I love this place, and my children do too. It's a great spot for kids to run around outside without phones, tablets, or video games. The setting is peaceful and beautiful, far enough from everything to enjoy real quiet, but close enough for quick trips to scenic and historic sites. I hope I can keep coming back for as long as I'm able.

The farm sits high enough that we had no cell reception, but that didn't bother me. We had internet in the apartment, which was enough for us. The Schmid family welcomed us warmly in October and showed us around, and it made for a wonderful break with our children, who were 5 and 2. They could play freely, and the big playground was fantastic. There's plenty to see nearby, and we even spent a day in Freiburg. The bread delivery works perfectly and the prices are very reasonable. Thanks as well for the lovely Christmas card. We'll definitely be back!

We had such a good time here as a family, and I had meant to write a review, but everyday life got in the way. Then a lovely Christmas card from the Schmid family arrived, wishing us a Happy New Year, and it reminded me to share how much we enjoyed the farm. The Schmid family make you feel welcome right away, and leaving is hard. Everything is clean and well maintained, and the location is a 10/10 if you love nature. I can wholeheartedly recommend the place, and we're definitely coming back. I'm especially looking forward to another sauna session! :-)
