Vollmershof

We spent four nights at the start of October in Holz Iglu Fuchs. It was a perfect spot to properly unwind, with amazing views and such a quiet, peaceful feel. The cabin was spotless and the beds were comfortable.

The surroundings were incredible, and we had a wonderful stay at Vollmershof last week. We slept in the wooden iglo, which was a unique experience. With no electricity or internet, it was easy to disconnect and just enjoy nature and time together.

We stayed for a week at the end of September in Igloo Hase, and had a really nice holiday. The owners were lovely and easy to reach. There was plenty for kids to play with on the property, and lots of animals. We especially liked seeing the cows grazing around the igloo. The bakery service came daily with good bread, croissants, cakes, and more. For outings, there’s plenty to see nearby, as well as walks in nature. Wolfach is about a 10-minute drive through the mountains. Inside, there are two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and one with bunk beds. There was lots of storage beneath the bunks, where we put a baby crib. The living room bench converts into a bed, and the kitchen has everything you need. Cooking on the stove was easy with the provided wood, and it heated the igloo well enough to keep it warm overnight. The beds were made up when we arrived, towels were available, and you can get cooling elements for the coolbox from the showers downstairs.

A wonderful place to stay, with a very nice family. The wooden igloos are terrific.
