We’ve stayed at this guesthouse several times for family celebrations and have always had great service. It’s small and cozy, and breakfast is a treat if you ask for it, with lovely regional food. Being close to the Rennsteig trail is a real plus, and there are plenty of hiking and jogging tips available.

Breakfast was fantastic, especially since they served it at four in the morning for the Rennsteig Run. The accommodation was excellent, and both our hostess and the staff were so friendly and welcoming, always smiling. Thanks for such a nice stay. We hope to come back next year, and wish you wonderful guests until then!

When I booked Pension BB for my 2019 cycling tour on the Rennsteig trail, they thoughtfully offered an evening snack, knowing that most places along the route would likely be closed on Mondays. It was bread with locally made sausage, minced pork, and liverwurst, and the last two were absolutely fantastic. Even the local inn is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and only opens for dinner Friday through Sunday. The room, breakfast, and staff were all top-notch. I’d happily stay again.

Clean and friendly, with a lovely family run feel. The breakfast was delicious and clearly made with care. I’d book this guesthouse again anytime.
