Hotel Restaurant Blume

The staff were polite and funny, and they speak English very well. We could check in early, and I imagine a late checkout could have been arranged too. My husband and I stayed just one night and had a pleasant time. The bed was roomy and very comfortable, though on the soft side. The shower had good pressure and enough space. There was also a kettle, a phone charging point, a mini fridge, and a TV. The fridge was empty, so it’s worth picking up a few things at a nearby shop, especially if you’ll be there on a Sunday. We didn’t get to eat at the restaurant, but it seemed to serve traditional German dishes.

The restaurant was decent, and the room worked well enough for a one-night stay. It’s close to the VW plant.

Breakfast comes as a buffet and was really tasty. The room was clean, and free Wi-Fi was available in it. It’s a cute little family-run hotel, with very friendly, helpful staff. Smoking is banned throughout, so smokers have to go outside. I smoke, but still give it five stars. ;)

The staff were a real bright spot. We arrived very late, and they handled everything perfectly. The beds, though, were hard as rocks, and the large queen-size bed we were promised turned out to be quite small.
