We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Sandwiese for a second time. The restaurant is very good, the breakfasts are generous and tasty, and the wines made at the property are excellent. Clean, spacious rooms made for a comfortable stay, and Schloss Herrnsheim with its nearby park is close enough for long walks. I can honestly recommend Hotel Sandwiese. I think guests will remember the place and be glad to return.

The hotel's wines, made and sold on site, were one of the highlights for us, along with the spacious, clean rooms and the warm, helpful staff. We stayed at the Sandwiese Hotel with my family for a weekend in mid-March. It's a small hotel with a vineyard near Schloss Herrnsheim, and breakfast was a tasty, generous way to start the day. Getting to Worms's historic centre by road is easy, so we could enjoy the city too. I'd encourage people to stay here for the special experiences and good memories. Just watch out for the dragon guarding the hotel from The Song of the Nibelungs! :)

The restaurant and service were really good. The room and breakfast were just okay, as the photos show, and didn't quite feel worth 99€ a night.

The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the hospitality is great. If you love wine, this is the place for you. One small downside, the staff don't speak English very well.
