The young woman at reception was very friendly and spoke good English. The hotel itself looked nice, was tidy and clean, and breakfast was good. Our room was the smallest one for two people and cost 110 euros a night, so the bathroom problems were unacceptable. The shower head was completely clogged with limescale, sending water in every direction and making it really uncomfortable to shower. The shower cabin leaked badly too, leaving water all over the floor, as far as the toilet. I also wouldn’t recommend eating dinner here. It was expensive for a very simple meal, with hardly any vegetables and no potatoes. My pepper sauce seemed like it came from a supermarket bottle. We arrived at 8:30, but the hostess seemed impatient to close the restaurant and was reluctant to speak English.

We’ll have to come back. The staff were so friendly, and breakfast was generous and delicious. The hotel is in a lovely, peaceful part of Bavaria, right by beautiful lake Wörthsee and not far from Munich.

If you’re into nature, this is a fantastic spot. You can walk or cycle around the lake, and with a bit of luck and good weather, swim in the beautiful Worthsee, whose water is crystal clear. The rooms are friendly and welcoming, and the location is amazing.

The restaurant is good, which is handy since there aren’t many places to eat nearby. It’s a family-run Bavarian hotel with a homely feel, very clean and comfortable rooms, and kind staff.
