This is still my favorite place in the world. I’ve had some great nights here. The underground seating area is wonderful, there’s a big selection of beers, and they have karaoke every week. Get there early on weekends, though, because it fills up fast. For me, it’s the best bar in town.

A local recommended this place to us, and they were right, it’s really charming. We had a wine tasting with wines from the region, as suggested, and cheese fondue for two. There was so much food and wine that we could have split everything. Such a great spot!

The staff were nice, and luckily our room had a fridge and a fan. But the rooms and beds are very small, almost claustrophobic, and there’s no elevator. The street out front is noisy at night. I’d call this a 2-star hotel, not really a 3-star one.

The wine was amazing, and the food was good and fresh. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I absolutely love this place, it feels rustic and authentic, right in the middle of Würzburg, almost like being in a museum.

The laundry service is quick. There’s a tram line outside, though, and it’s very loud. It would also be handy to have somewhere to make a drink, like a kettle or coffee machine.
