After a six-hour journey, we arrived around 23.30, as we'd told the hotel in advance, and were informed there was no room for us. We had booked a week earlier and received confirmation. The reception staff called the manager, who claimed a cancellation email had been sent. That wasn't true; we'd received only the confirmation. The manager showed no empathy or professionalism and sent us away in the middle of the night without offering suggestions or compensation. After several calls, we found another place that cost more than double the original price. I can't recommend this place. They were unprofessional and didn't tell the truth.

A quiet, pleasant place to rest, and the price isn't too high either.

The tram stop is only a few meters from the hotel, and trams into town come every 10-15 minutes. We stayed as a cycling group and got a friendly welcome in the beer garden, where we had a refreshing drink. The rooms are spacious and clean. The furniture looks a little dated, but it's functional and fine for the fair price. Breakfast was tasty, with a good selection and egg dishes made fresh to order. A pleasant hotel above Würzburg.
