The room itself wasn't really bad, but the hotel's condition and the staff left a lot to be desired. I'm travelling for work with a co-worker, and we've had reservation problems since day one. The main door was broken, so we had to use a side entrance with lockers and room access codes. Some codes didn't work, and we spent over half an hour trying to get into our rooms in minus five degree weather. Staff didn't answer when we tried to contact them, and the after-hours emergency number was unresponsive too. When we finally reached someone, they didn't solve anything. Breakfast was included for our five-day stay. The hotel and Booking.com said it ran from 7:00 AM to 9:45 AM, but that wasn't true. It's at a separate café, and the opening time is 8:30 or 9:00 AM depending on which of the two locations. The hotel takes no responsibility and doesn't resolve any of our complaints.

Check-in was extremely easy, and the hotel was clean and quiet in an excellent location. My room was lovely and well equipped with a kettle, coffee maker, and complimentary mineral water. Joyce and Katharina gave me invaluable assistance. I highly recommend staying here.

We had plenty of space for our family for the night, and enjoyed the terrace and its lovely view. The location was very convenient, but it was also loud all night. The building and bathroom both smelled. The breakfast we'd paid for was disappointing too, with rotten apples and not much food to go around.

The rooms were spacious, and the service and location were fine. But a bar right outside our room stayed open in the evening, which was very disturbing with small children. Breakfast was embarrassing. I wouldn't recommend eating there, breakfast score: 0.
