After visiting the Christmas market in Xanten, I had dinner here. The pork medallions were delicious, the service was top notch, and I loved the atmosphere. It's also just a short walk from the town center.

We loved the newly renovated hotel, with its alpine decor and comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet was superb, and there's a restaurant downstairs serving typical German food. You can walk to the Altstadt of Zanten.

The restaurant is well worth a visit. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly, though the wait is long, over 30 minutes.

We tried the typical Bavarian dishes the restaurant is known for, and everything was fantastic. We're looking forward to visiting again. I especially recommend the Kaesespaetzle and dishes with WaldsteinPilze in a cream sauce or another kind of sauce.
