Gutshaus Zarnewanz

The seminar rooms make this a great spot for workshops, groups, or celebrations, as well as a vacation. The rooms are each furnished with care and their own style, a real treat to look at. It’s an exciting manor house, shaped by creative people brave enough to follow their own vision.

Our plans had to shift by a day at short notice, but the issue was sorted out quickly and in a friendly, easygoing way. The service was just as welcoming throughout our weekend stay, shared by six of us. The manor house is beautiful, and I’ve rarely seen accommodation decorated with such attention to detail. We’ll definitely come back.

We were there mainly to sleep and enjoy the Baltic Sea, and that worked out fine. The apartment was worth the price, but cleaning could have been better: dust had been left behind, there was hair in the bed and around the sink, and the kettle was heavily scaled with cloudy water. The bed linen smelled neutral, with no toxic scent, and I appreciated their eco-friendly approach and their own cleaning machine. Cats may be an issue for some: the entrance hall you pass through to reach the room smelled of them, one even got into our car, so I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you dislike cats or have allergies. 👍

We felt very comfortable, even though we only stayed one night. The apartment is on a beautifully situated estate, and its rooms have been carefully renovated and furnished with real affection. I’m sure this won’t be our last visit.
