Breakfast had a nice range of good options, and the price felt fair. The staff were attentive and friendly, parking was easy, and the room was fine. Don’t let the location put you off giving the place a try. It would suit U.S. standards.

The hotel is handy for Regensburg, and there’s free private parking. Breakfast and coffee were very good, and the stay was good value. The room was roomy and comfortable, though the brushed cotton sheets and heavy duvet made it hot. Late-night drinkers also meant I had to keep all the windows shut, which made it hot again.

We had a really quiet, pleasant night, and the staff were nice. The place may be older, but I’ve never stayed in a room this big. There was loads of space in the bedroom, hallway, bathroom, and balcony. Everything was clean, tidy, and worked, apart from the old radio by the bed, which was just nostalgic. I’d definitely recommend it.

It’s pet-friendly, and the hotel sits in a beautiful natural setting. A good choice if you’re after somewhere peaceful to get away from the city.

No water or fridge, just a little plastic cup with a request for a tip. The room interior looked about as old as the mattress I had to sleep on. This hotel is amazing, it feels like going straight back to the 80s. Definitely coming back!
