The room was on the second floor, and getting to it meant using an outside staircase. Some of the furniture looked a little worn, too. Still, it’s a beautiful hotel in a great spot, breakfast was very good, and most of the staff were friendly.

Breakfast was the weak spot. Even though it was fairly quiet, the staff sometimes seemed annoyed or unmotivated, and refills were slow every day, even for scrambled eggs. If breakfast runs until 10:30 a.m. but the rolls are gone soon after 9, there’s room to improve. The rest of our stay was very pleasant. Reception was genuinely welcoming, parking was exemplary during our October 2025 visit, and our clean, tidy rooms were well furnished, though some felt a bit dated. Room service was friendly and reliable.

The hotel itself was lovely, clean, and staffed by very friendly people. But the noisy refrigerator in our room kept our three-year-old daughter awake several times during the first two nights, so we couldn't relax, especially after saving up for a special vacation. A technician came and arranged a repair, but we were told that was just how things were. We switched the fridge off and had to keep our food at reception in another building. We were verbally promised one free night for both rooms. In the end, the offer was only to waive the €12 beach-chair charge, which we declined. After hearing nothing for two weeks, we contacted the hotel, and I spoke with the assistant manager. They then offered just €50 total, less than a night's room cost. I work in hotels and know what can be done. I asked them to waive one night as a gesture of appreciation, but they refused and offered 5% off a future booking instead. Given the prices, that felt like a joke, and after this frustrating experience we won't return. It's a shame, because otherwise it was lovely. All the hassle leaves me unable to give more than 2 stars.

Breakfast had a good range, with something for everyone, and the location was great with a large parking lot. We were very satisfied with the lovely room and its balcony. Double doors opened onto the hotel corridor, which kept hotel noise out.
