Ferienhaus am Museumshof

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay in the Fiete apartment. The little village is charming and makes a good base for seeing all of Rügen. The apartment was spotless and thoughtfully furnished, and Peanut, our little Labrador, got the same warm welcome we did. The hosts are very friendly, and we highly recommend staying here.

There’s lots of room to unwind on the huge grounds, with sunny and shady places to sit or lounge. You can use the grills for a barbecue, play table tennis, or let the kids enjoy the swings, trampoline, and open space. Dogs are welcome, and our landlords are always helpful. The house has several apartments in different sizes, and while the setting isn’t especially quiet, the traffic noise wasn’t too loud. If you’re bringing a bike, it’s best to transport it by car to a place with cycle paths. We stayed in “Fiete,” a modern apartment with everything we needed. It has two ceramic hobs and a big fridge with a freezer compartment, plus a microwave in place of an oven. We’re happy to eat out sometimes while on holiday anyway. At 40 square meters, it’s a lovely little place with enough room for two. We really like coming here and would gladly return.

Fresh bread rolls can be brought right to your door early in the morning if you ask. The grounds are beautifully kept, and the apartments are spotless and furnished with care. The hosts are incredibly friendly, and every stay is a wonderful experience. If you're visiting Rügen, this is a lovely place to stay.

The owners are wonderful, always ready to help and there when you need them. We were greeted so warmly, and the “Hauke” apartment felt like a dream, with plenty of room. It’s beautifully furnished and the kitchen has everything you could need. There’s a living and dining room with a breakfast bar, a shower bathroom, and a sleeping area behind a glass door with a double bed. A second double bed sits up on a mezzanine, easily reached by stairs. We’ll definitely be back.
