FeWo Lerbachtal

The self check-in with a door code was something we really appreciated, and we're already looking forward to coming back soon. Our family stayed in the Lerbachtal holiday apartment with our dog. It's a huge place, with generous rooms and high ceilings. The beds were comfortable, the living room cozy, and the kitchen had everything we needed.

We booked this Airbnb rental for three nights. It was spacious and simply furnished, but functional, with just a few small things that could be better. It made a decent, inexpensive overnight base if you have a car. The town itself felt like it was dying and badly needed renovation, clearly past its prime. There were no restaurants or shops around. Three days was plenty for us.

The area around the apartment is lovely, and the place itself is bright, spacious and equipped as described. The on-site caretaker has things under control and is very helpful. A few small things in the apartment need replacing, like the toilet seat and shutters, then I'd happily give it five stars.

We came with a group and found the vacation apartments beautiful and spacious. Having a barbecue in the courtyard worked out well. The Harz ideal road for motorcycles passes right in front of the house, and it's easy to get around on foot too, although some of the uphill stretches are quite steep.
