Bauernhof Kroner

The hillside setting is peaceful and idyllic, with a beautiful panoramic view. It made a great starting point for our excursions, and shops are only a short drive away. Our children loved seeing the rabbits, chickens, horses and ponies, and there are lovely play areas around the grounds. We booked the Wiesenzauber holiday home at the Kroner family holiday farm spontaneously for three nights and were thrilled. The home is inviting, spotlessly clean and furnished with wonderful attention to detail. The kitchen was just as clean and so well equipped that we had everything we needed to cook our own meals comfortably. Having a parking space right beside the house made loading and unloading easy. It was a perfect stay, and we'd happily return to the Kroner family holiday farm.

Mrs. Kroner gave us such a warm welcome and showed us around right away. Our holiday apartment was in excellent condition, clean and very well equipped, and we all felt comfortable and at home. Our daughters had great fun with the cats, rabbits and goats. They also got to help prepare the ponies for riding by grooming them and helping with the saddling. Our short break at the Kroner family holiday farm was a complete success. Highly recommended, and we're looking forward to our next holiday with the Kroner family.

We found the farm a great base for exploring the beautiful Bavarian Forest, with shopping just a 3-minute drive away. Fresh bread rolls were delivered daily, and the apartment had a breathtaking view down into the valley. It was fantastic and fully equipped, and both the apartment and farm were impeccably clean. Booking was quick and easy, and the daily horseback ride through the valley was a real plus. Indoors, there was foosball, ping-pong and a play barn. On Fridays, we were invited to a campfire and barbecue, with everyone catering for themselves. We've stayed on farm holidays in several places over the past few years, from the North Sea coast to the Elbe Sandstone Mountains and the Black Forest, so we had some comparisons in mind for the Bavarian Forest. This place was bigger, and felt a little less personal than smaller farms. That was fine for us, since we found plenty to do both on the farm and away from it. We'd wholeheartedly recommend it, would book again in a heartbeat, and are grateful for a wonderful week.

We had such a lovely time, thank you! Our family group included the grandparents, grandchildren and cousins with their children. Everyone had their own space, while we could all gather in the beautiful common room, with the children playing in the next room. Over New Year's, we skied at the Arber, about 20 minutes away, though there was unfortunately a traffic jam to the parking lot. We also went to Mitterdorf, about 50 minutes away, where conditions were especially good for children. We hiked in Bavarian Canada and up to the Rachel mountain, with sunshine the whole time. We didn't really get to know all the farm animals properly, so perhaps next time. We wish the Kroner family a Happy New Year and all the best for the future.
