The location was hard to beat, with all the area's attractions a short walk away, and the views were great. The price was actually the best on the Island for our travel dates. Hosts were friendly and flexible, and the fresh, spacious, cosy facilities had everything we needed to cook dinner, hang out, play games, or spend the evening in the living room. The self-service bar also had a great selection of local drinks and more. We'll definitely come back.
The host was really kind. A problem with the booking site could have left us sleeping in the car, but he did his best to find us a room, even though it was last minute and already late at night, after 9pm. The price was really good, and the rooms were good for a vandrehjem. The shower and toilet were very clean. There's a lake not far from the hotel, and the night sky looks amazing.
It sits on a hill facing the local lake, and the staff were hospitable. The facilities are great, making this an affordable stay without compromising on their quality. Breakfast was the one letdown for me, a bit underwhelming for the price.
For a hostel, this is a really nice little place in gorgeous surroundings. The hosts were lovely, and the food prepared for the party I attended was extraordinary for a place like this. The view from the bar and shared dining area is spectacular. I also really appreciated the beautiful outdoor bonfire area and the several communal rooms.
Friendly service and a very easy check-in. The location is quiet, while still close to the lighthouse and Hammers Hus. The premises also work well for a longer stay.
