Copenhagen Airport Hotel

The building is beautiful and bright, and we had a lovely front room with a balcony. If you can, it's worth choosing one of those rooms. Breakfast was simple and good, and the reception staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. They recommended Cafe Espersen, a five-minute walk away on the harbour, for lovely fresh fish. There's no bar or restaurant at the hotel, but there are plenty of nearby options. We stayed one night on a stopover in Copenhagen. It's a great-value place about a 10-minute drive from the airport, yet the small seaside setting and lovely atmosphere feel a world away. The hotel is a little tired in spots, but we loved it.

I arrived during a horrible rainstorm and was given a top-floor room with a big window and skylight. Falling asleep to the sound of rain was so peaceful. In the morning, the coastline and the building's charming craftsmanship were lovely to wake up to. The coffee was great too. Such a charming inn.

Buses nearby go to Copenhagen airport, about a 10-minute walk away or less. We enjoyed the old town of dragør and being right by the sea. I even swam with the moon jellyfish, which was a cool experience. Breakfast was okay, though I wish there'd been more options.

The scenery and surroundings felt like a reminder to slow down and enjoy the beauty of the moment. Breakfast was lovely, too. I contacted the hotel because my flight was late and I expected to arrive later than planned. When I got there, the front door was open and there was a button to request help from the front desk. The employee was pleasant. The next day I needed a taxi, and pressing a button called one to the airport. It arrived within 10 to 15 minutes.
