We had a quiet, peaceful base for our first Copenhagen visit, just outside the busiest area, and the location made getting around by bike easy. Nyhavn was a short walk away. Rooms were clean, the beds were really comfortable, and we loved the decor and theming at 25hours Hotel Paper Island. Staff were welcoming, and there's a very nice, though expensive, restaurant downstairs. Our Amex booking came with perks, including a great complimentary Amex members breakfast with plenty of choice and cheerful service. I'd have liked allergen details visible on the buffet signs, though staff could answer questions. The free breakfast had plenty to choose from, but the coffee ordering could be clearer. We asked for oat milk lattes each morning, and on the last day I was given one made with milk. Luckily I'm not allergic. There was no clear system for ordering barista drinks or extra food, and it sometimes felt awkward to ask. Some staff seemed under pressure on a few mornings. The hotel felt short on amenities for the price: I would've liked a small gym. We were upgraded to a room with garden access, but it didn't wow me, and there was no nice city view. With a few tweaks we'd return, since cleanliness and service were impeccable.

Mario at reception rescued our arrival. We turned up late on Friday night tired and stressed, only to realise we'd booked the wrong date. He stayed calm, professional, and incredibly helpful, truly first-class service. The hotel's rooms were clean and lovely, and the place felt cosy and personal. All the staff were friendly and made us welcome. The restaurant was excellent, and the surrounding area quiet, charming, and beautiful. We'll definitely return next time we're in town.

The welcome from the staff felt personal and memorable, with everyone I met friendly, professional, and warm. 25hours Hotel Paper Island was beautifully and distinctively designed, with a cosy, comfortable feel, like a stylish home. It was also impeccably clean. Getting to city sights and public transport was easy from this fantastic location. Breakfast was delicious, and Tiger Lily was a great dinner spot. Can't wait to visit again.

Breakfast was a standout, with a generous buffet as well as fresh dishes made to order. The bar on the 8th floor had amazing views and even better drinks, and Tiger Lily is worth a visit too. The hotel was new to me, but I'd stay again. It's close to the centre, with lovely nyhavn only a short walk away. All the staff were lovely and accommodating. Ricardo checked us in and shared some great recommendations. I'd definitely recommend it and hope to return soon!

The location was just right, and we enjoyed every moment together here. I stayed with my teenage daughter for her birthday trip to Copenhagen, and the hotel exceeded all our expectations. She was enchanted by its warm, stylish, welcoming feel. The reception team were kind, professional, and truly helpful. We'll treasure these memories and would happily return.
